Larry Schwartz
Larry Schwartz is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cannabiz Media, where he leads sales, business development, and technology operations. He brings deep experience guiding media ventures from start-up to scale, including Tickets.com (acquired by MLB Advanced Media), Bolenka Games Online (Trivial Pursuit® Online), GFI Group (Nasdaq: GFIG – Financial Services), Wizard World (Publishing), Patron Technology and Newstex.
For over three decades, Larry has focused on building content and data licensing businesses, specializing in bringing new forms of content into traditional industries. His work empowers professionals with actionable insights in competitive intelligence, business development, and sales strategy.
Larry studied at Bates College and the Yale School of Drama. He served for eleven years on the Content Division Board of Directors of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) and is a frequent speaker on content strategy, product development, start-ups, and business turnarounds.
A self-professed gadget geek and avid cyclist, Larry also enjoys Broadway life with his wife—a theatrical agent—and their two Portuguese Water dogs.

Ed Keating
Ed Keating is a co-founder of Cannabiz Media, where he leads data research and government relations initiatives that power the company’s insights into the cannabis economy. With a career rooted in compliance-focused information services, Ed has overseen product, marketing, and sales for multijurisdictional platforms spanning securities, corporate law, UCC, safety, environmental, and human resources markets.
At Cannabiz Media, Ed spearheads efforts to engage with regulators worldwide, gathering and analyzing corporate, financial, and licensing data to map the evolving cannabis landscape. He is the author of the Cannacurio blog and host of the Cannacurio podcast, where he explores market trends, regulatory developments, and the stories behind the data. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Ed brings clarity and context to complex cannabis market dynamics.
He holds a degree from Hamilton College and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Alyssa Gatto
Alyssa manages the Cannabiz Media customer journey from marketing to client success. She has led client relationships and marketing programs large and small for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups alike spanning industries such as technology, retail, and hospitality.
No matter the challenge, her passion guides her toward building programs from the ground up using insight, creativity, and ingenuity. Alyssa prides herself on not only thinking outside the box, but running screaming from it. In her free time, she attempts to balance an active lifestyle with her husband, two young children, and two dogs with her love of travel, food, and appreciating the small things.

Davis Thode
Davis Thode has 15 years of experience as a sales professional working in landscaping, hospitality technology, and commercial lighting before entering the cannabis industry in 2017. After earning Cannabiz Media's coveted "Salesperson of the Year" award multiple years running, he stepped into his current leadership role fostering a comprehensive business development machine focused on both new sales and retention.
Davis had planted over 2,000 trees thanks to his early career in landscaping followed by personal pursuits later in life. And like any true sales professional, he loves to play golf. So much so he's declared his life motto: "Close deals, make birdies."
